Archive for February, 2008Today I caught part of a news conference with that retard (yes retard – and believe me I am being very nice by calling that piece of sh*t a retard) President Bush making comments on the economy. Every time he speaks I wonder who is the puppet master? All I can picture in my mind is VP Dickhead Cheney hiding behind Bush with his hand stuffed up Bush’s ass and having him say what he or his rethuglican buddies want him to say.
With that kind of response it makes me wonder how far does he have his head up his ass? He must have one big ass to have his head, all that bullsh*t, and Cheney’s hand up there. But then too, he is a 100% ass to begin with. Bush supports spying on Americans, promises to veto a bill to stop giving oil companies tax breaks, totally raped the economy, has no concern for global warming, and is responsible for the deaths of 3973 soldiers in Iraq. I could go on, but it would just get uglier. I will be glad when the world’s biggest and most arrogant terrorist is out of office. Thank you for visiting Expressing Opinions. This is your chance to find out what your neighbors are saying about you or others in the neighborhood.
What I find funny is several people emailed Channel 2 expressing their displeasure about the story. I bet they had neighbors who had something to say about their poorly maintained yard or house. Too funny!!! Thank you for visiting Expressing Opinions. Tags: funny, onlineHere is another photo I came across today, this one is from the Seattle Times. The senior 777 pilot for Cathay Pacific Airways decided to do an unauthorized flyby with 50 to 60 people on board, one of the people on board was company Chairman Christopher Pratt. The pilot was fired.
You can go to YouTube to view the video which caused the pilot to lose his job. Thank you for visiting Expressing Opinions. Tags: travelThis photo and caption is from the BBC’s Day in Pictures. When I saw it I thought the smog really made the blue in the photo stand out. That air is really dirty, I would not want to be an athlete competing in a city with such horrendous pollution.

Today I came across an a news piece on Reuters about getting your writings, movies, music, or photographs published and selling them online. I checked out three sites: These sites seemed to be very reasonably priced in joining, setup cost, and publishing. All have their pricing clearly stated and all three have a marketing plan. However, CreateSpace uses Amazon if you are inclined to use a more traditional web source. The bottom line is if you are creative and interested in getting published, it would be worth reading the Reuters article and checking out these sites. Thank you for visiting Expressing Opinions. I have a great medical insurance plan through my employer. But over the years I have seen the way the insurance “manages” the people it insures. Doctor referrals, prescription approvals and disapprovals, and second guessing or outright disagreeing with my physician over treatment. What gives them the right to dictate what is good for me when they do not know who I am or the circumstances around my health issue? Once I went to urgency care because I fell while riding my bicycle. At the doctor’s office I listed my reason for being there as an accident due to me falling from my bicycle. About two weeks later I get a letter from the insurance company wanting to know if anyone else was involved and did they have insurance? The more I read the letter the more I realized they were trying to get someone else to pay for the office visit and prescriptions. When I was diagnosed with diabetes my insurance company denied so many prescriptions my physician prescribed for me, I finally called the insurance company to confront them. I asked them which medication did they think I should take because they seemed to know more about my diagnosis than my doctor. The problem with insurance companies is they know they have you by the balls and they are merciless. Today I read on Reuters about a judgment against Health Net. It seems Health Net canceled a womans policy after she had 3 of 8 chemotherapy treatments. The arbitrator awarded the woman $9.4 million and in his opinion arbitration judge Sam Cianchetti wrote,
Yeah that’s right! Health Net offers bonuses to employees for finding reasons to cancel insurance policy’s. There is another case pending involving a newborn boy whose Health Net coverage was canceled after he was born blind and with cerebral palsy. I am glad to hear an insurance company being held accountable for it’s actions. Thank you for visiting Expressing Opinions. The basics are if you have breast calcifications you may be at a higher risk for stroke. You can read the full article on Mediline Plus: Mammograms Might Spot Stroke Risk.
