Web-based Photoshop ExpressPosted by: Expressing Opinions in computers, creativity, fun, photosI have used Adobe Photoshop for a long time. Many friends have shown interest, but in the end they do not want to spend the money or deal with the learning curve. Now it looks like Adobe is starting Web-based Photoshop Express, available for free with 2 gigabytes of storage at www.photoshop.com/express.
The MyPhotos page of Photoshop Express, a Web-based application for editing and sharing photos. (Image from Adobe) Only time will tell how it stacks up with other services available on the web, but it is nice to see another choice available from a reputable company. You can read a full review of the application at Webware. Thank you for visiting Expressing Opinions. Today NPR is reporting about the Olympics and China’s human rights violations and pollution in Beijing.

Chinese government officials are visiting temples and making threats to monks and other citizens about the unrest in the region. The AP (Associated Press) is reporting:
Apparently the Chinese government leaders think patriotic or political education is the answer. Is “patriotic or political education” the 21st century political correct term for tortured until you agree with us or die? What was the Olympic committee thinking when they decided to choose Beijing as the sight for the 2008 Olympics? Maybe they are going to add torture to event list. If that is the case, then China and the U.S. Waterboarding team can compete. Thank you for visiting Expressing Opinions. As Walmart continues to prosper it’s workers struggle to earn a living as the company profits from the exploitation of it’s workers. If you buy at Walmart, you support it’s exploitation of it’s workers. We have all heard of the practices Walmart employs. This effectively contributes to the negative affects in the community by keeping it’s residents living below a comfortable level of existence. Do you want to support a company which uses unfair and anti-labor tactics against the people they employ? If not, then do not shop at Walmart. The map is based on real Walmart growth based on data from Freebase and was built by Toby at kiwitobes.com. Thank you for visiting Expressing Opinions. Tags: community
Do you know what U.S. Airways, the news media, and TSA has not told the public about an accidental discharge of a weapon on a U.S. Airways flight? ABC did state the weapon was a HK (Heckler and Koch) .40 cal pistol, but they did not tell you it employed HK’s innovative LEM (Law Enforcement Modification) trigger system. Maybe they did not know what the LEM trigger system is. <- - - HK P2000SK .40 Cal with LEM An HK pistol with the LEM trigger does not have a safety on it to be turned on or off. The weapon, once loaded and cocked with a round chambered is at the ready to fire and will discharge the round once the trigger is pulled and will do so without the need to take off a safety. Simply draw and pull the trigger to fire. This pistol will not fire unless the trigger is pulled! The Heckler and Koch, USB Compacts and P2000SK weapons are excellent concealable weapons. The LEM trigger system and the weapons carried by eligible crew members has went through extraordinary testing, is extremely reliable, and safe if carried and used properly. HK produces excellent weapons and are carried by many law enforcement and government professionals, along with special forces units throughout the world. As with any weapon it is only as safe as the person handling and operating it. Thank you for visiting Expressing Opinions. Tags: travelYesterday a milestone was reached. The 4,000th American soldier died in Baghdad.
Over 500,000,000,000 (5 billion) dollars have been spent on the Iraq war alone. While here at home many Americans are struggling with the high cost of fuel, food, health care, and housing. Americans appear to have lost interest in the wars, but when are they going to draw the correlation between the cost of the war and the economy? And what about the cost to America in the loss of life and the lives of those who return severely injured? Thank you for visiting Expressing Opinions. Tags: iraq |
