Oil Graph

Over the past year crude oil prices have doubled, the value of the dollar has fallen, and it looks like the American economy is headed further down. But the oil company quarterly profits have continually been in the 10’s of billions of dollars while the American people slog along in a downward spiral.

I hope the American people are not expecting help from the government. That piece of sh*t President Bush certainly does not care what happens to the economy as long as he and his oil company cronies keep fleecing America and reaping the profits from it.

In the meantime I hear on the news a city commissioner saying road repairs will need to be put off because the city is not bringing in tax revenue from the gas tax because people are driving less, thus consuming less gas. If this is the case in city government, then what about the federal level? We have been hearing about a moratorium on federal gas taxes to help lower gas prices for Americans. If the feds cut the tax then where are they going to get the money to repair roads and bridges? If we don’t pay now we will end up paying later. Is this also a way to keep Americans driving and to keep the oil company profits in record territory?

What about pulling out of Iraq and using the 12 billions a month being spent on a war the majority of Americans are against on something more positive? No wonder piece of sh*t Bush’s approval rating is at 28%. What amazes me is 28% of Americans approve of how he is running the country. That means almost 3 out of 10 people in a room approve of the war, the economy, and overall state of the country. I guess there will always be a certain amount of mentally challenged mouth breathers in every society.
