There is a guy in Maine willing to pay $5,000 for a wife! Is this guy desperate? Does he have any social skills at all? Like he is really going to find a “good” woman with $5,000. I can only imagine what kind of a woman would being willing to sell herself into marriage.
The Seacoastonline.com reports 39 year old Charles Haeberle as saying,
“Everybody needs money and I have money, so I figured what the heck.”
It sounds like he is trying to purchase a wife from a third world country. Maybe he should spend his money on a hooker if he does not want an import wife.
He also said when he first moved from Key West, Florida to Wells, Maine his mother sent him to a gay and lesbian bar to meet people. Maybe she knows something he does not.
Being single I know dating can be a pain in the ass and a lot of people carry an enormous amount of baggage. In fact to move in with someone, they would need to box up the baggage and use United Van Lines to move it. But paying to find the love of your life? I don’t think so!
