McCain wants to suspend a moratorium on offshore drilling for oil. No surprise there. Instead of working on alternative forms of energy and conservation, McCain wants Americans to continue their dependence on oil. It looks like the oil companies have control of McCain and want him as president so they can keep their strangle hold on the American people while bleeding us for every dollar they can get out of us.

The Washington Post states: McCain Seeks to End Offshore Drilling Ban

McCain’s announcement is a reversal of the position he took in his 2000 presidential campaign and a break with environmental activists, even as he attempts to win the support of independents and moderate Democrats. Since becoming the presumptive GOP nominee in March, McCain has presented himself as a friend of the environment by touting his plans to combat global warming and his opposition to drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and in the Everglades.

It looks like the same old bullsh*t story from the re”thug”licans. Telling the American people lies and changing positions so the can push the agenda for their cronies, the oil companies, and anyone else who has enough money to buy influence in the Whitehouse and reap huge profits. When McCain’s lips are moving he is lying. Looks like he took lessons from that piece of sh*t Bush.
