Americans do more drugs than people from other countries. Time is running an article called: An American Pastime: Smoking Pot.
In fact, Americans were more likely to have tried marijuana or cocaine than people in any of the 16 other countries, including France, Spain, South Africa, Mexico and Colombia, that the survey covered.
–many Americans can afford to spend income on recreational drugs. Another factor may be an increasing awareness that marijuana may be less toxic than other drugs, such as tobacco or alcohol.
I find it interesting they think pot may be less toxic than tobacco or alcohol.
This leaves me with a couple of questions. With gas and grocery prices going up are Americans smoking less pot or are they smoking more? Is the munchies now cheaper than buying gas? And… will this be another excuse people will use for being fat.

Did you know (I found this out watching Hillbillies on the History channel hosted by, believe it or not, Billy Ray Cyrus) that pot is the biggest cash crop around Appalachia? It has twice the PCP.. The show was actually educational.
